A family-owned Whyalla business, in it for the long run.
AMAX Towing & Transport is run by Andy and Kelly. The business was established in January 2022, based in Whyalla, South Australia. We previously operated under a different name and rebranded as AMAX to reflect the direction the business has taken: more tilt tray and transport work, especially for commercial and industrial customers.
What we care about

We would rather build a long-term relationship with a handful of good customers than chase every single lead.

We answer the phone. We call back if we miss you. We tell you what's happening and when.

If we say we'll be there, we'll be there. If something's changed, you'll hear it from us first.

Who we work with
Most of our work is with equipment hire companies, mining, defence contractors, civil and construction companies, government organisations and commercial businesses. We also work with mechanics, insurers and private customers.
If you're looking for a carrier you can rely on rather than the cheapest one in the region, we're a good fit. If you're looking for the cheapest, we're honestly probably not.
